The SDI 2012 & 2422 are family of specialty Low Voltage DC MEMS Variable Capacitive Accelerometers from Silicon Design. They are low-cost and integrated plug-and-play measurement devices which are ideal for applications with a +5V regulated power supply. They are suitable for zero-to-medium frequency measurement applications where high performance, long-term stability and low noise sensors are required. In these low-voltage accelerometers, the cable’s shield and the case are connected while the ground wire and the case are isolated from each other. The units produce differential analog output voltage pairs that is in proportion with the acceleration.
