Micro Epsilon ILR2250 | Laser Distance Sensor for Challenging surfaces

The optoNCDT ILR2250 from Micro-Epsilon is a laser distance sensor designed for measuring large distances up to 100 m without contact. This innovative non-contact sensor provides high resolution and precision measurement at long range. Therefore, the sensor can be used to achieve accurate measurement even on challenging objects such as dark, structured, or weakly reflecting surfaces remote measuring objects. Users have a choice to use the sensor with or without reflector film depending on the distance and operating conditions. By attaching a reflector film to the measuring object, the measuring range can be extended up to 150 m. The laser distance sensor comes with an auto integrated mode that enables precise and reliable measurement. The ILR2250-100-IO model version has an IO-Link interface that makes data communication incredibly simple while greatly reducing the sensor's commissioning time. The laser distance sensor also comes in the ILR2250-100-H model which has an integrated heating and cooling element that protects the sensor from dust and splash water.  This feature makes the ILR2250-100-H model ideal to be operated in the range from -40 °C to +65 °C.
