The Endevco model 7221A is a small, lightweight piezoelectric accelerometer which is ideal to be used for general vibration measurement. The model is sealed hermetically and offers a wide range of bandwidth and temperature at which the device is operational. The signal ground and the outer case of the unit are connected. To make the accelerometer electrically isolated from the ground, it can be used with an isolated mounting screw. The model has a centrally located mounting bolt that allows a 360° orientation. This feature comes in very handy in many applications. A low-noise coaxial cable is also supplied with the unit for an error-free operation.
