The Endevco 2221D is an accelerometer that is ideal for measuring vibrations on small structures. The accelerometer is self-generating, hence does not require any external power source. The sensor is sealed by an epoxy coating and can be operated in a controlled environment. It weighs only 12grams which effectively minimizes the mass loading. Signal ground and the outer case unit are connected in this unit. To make this accelerometer electrically isolated from the ground, it is used with an isolated mounting screw. The delivery includes a low-noise coaxial cable for an error-free operation. The transducer also exhibits a 360° cable orientation facilitated by a centrally located thru bolt.
