The station is designed to test for material type, height and weight, before a robotic arm is used for palletizing operation. Parts are placed on the conveyor belt and detected by sensors, triggering rotary arm to pick and place weighing operation and then by quest robot for palletizing.
The system is built with following modules: belt conveyor, inductive sensing, height check, rotary pick & place, weighing, Quest Robot, pallet, pneumatic system. The trainer can introduce faults easily to teach troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
