The MF200 pump cavitation trainer is designed to teach students all they need to know about cavitation, including the common causes and the effects they exert on the hydraulic system. The concept of pump cavitation is hard to grasp as students often were left confused after the theory class. The MF200 cavitation simulator has the transparent case which allows the student to visually observe cavitation phenomenon and understand the operation of the pump that cause the issues. The transparent case allows the student to observe the following:
- Normal operation at the pump inlet
- Abnormally high and abnormally low pump inlet restriction
- Turbulence caused by discharging oil above oil level in hydraulic reservoir
- Vortex caused by oil level drop below the pump inlet
