  • HST17 Forces in a Truss

The HST17 Forces in a Truss training equipment is designed for educational institutes to investigate bar forces in a truss subjected to external forces. The training equipment enables students to measure the strain and force using the strain gauge technology applied to the truss member. The resultant output is fed directly to the external interface. The entire training equipment kit is available with tools and an instruction manual to perform the different laws of statically determinate, resolution of joints, stress, strain, area, and modulus of elasticity.

    Experimental capabilities:

    • Calculate member forces by resolution of joints
    • Measure strains exerted on each truss member
    • To view compressive and tensile forces/strains
