Meggitt 6237M70/M71 Extremely High temperature piezoelectric accelerometer
The Meggitt 6237M70 and 6237M71 piezoelectric accelerometers are designed to reliably operate continuously in an extremely high temperature environment up to 650C with long mean time between failures (MTBF) such as in aircraft and ground-based gas turbines. Due to their compact size, they can be installed in cramped locations with minimal structural support. The accelerometers feature Meggittt’s crystal in a shear design along with a sensitive axis and require no power to operate.
