The F100 flexible airflow system from PA Hilton is an educational unit that enables students to investigate a wide range of and low-speed airflow phenomena and fundamental aerodynamics. It comes with 11 interchangeable experiments, optional modules and built-in safety features for safe and unsupervised student operation.
With F100, a student can apply the learning capabilities of Bernoulli equation, jet attachment, drag forces on various shapes, investigation of a turbulent jet & boundary layer development, fan performance characteristics, pressure distribution around a cylinder & aero-foil, flow visualization studies and air-flow measurement methods.
The unit has a lower noise emittance over conventional wind tunnels and comes with an inverter fan for precise air speed control.
The Airflow system F100 is designed for educational institutes to introduce students to the fundamental aspects of airflow, and aerodynamics, by performing a variety of experiments. The teaching equipment is available with an expandable range of optional accessories and modules that can be used to investigate theoretical concepts such as Bernoulli’s equation, heat transfer process, flow visualization, and much more. It has a small footprint, high volume high-pressure centrifugal fan with adjustable flow control, inlet, and outlet couplings. The equipment is supplied with an instruction manual consisting of experimental procedures.
