    The PI 05M is an ultra-short-wavelength thermal camera designed for non-contact temperature measurement of molten metal alloys and high-energy laser processes. Operating at 0.50–0.54 µm, it aligns with metals’ peak emissivity, minimizing reflection errors and ensuring accurate, repeatable readings in demanding environments. It measures continuously from 900 °C to 2450 °C, delivering high precision across diverse industrial tasks. Equipped with a 27° × 17° lens, the camera captures detailed thermal images and precise spot temperatures at practical distances. Short-wavelength operation increases emitted signal strength at high temperatures, reducing the impact of emissivity uncertainties compared with long-wave systems. Flexible acquisition modes adapt to process speed: full-frame 764 × 480 pixels at 32 Hz for detailed imaging, 382 × 288 at 80 Hz for fast motion, and 72 × 56 at 1 kHz for rapid transients. A 764 × 8 sub-image line mode at 1 kHz supports line-scanner workflows for strip or seam monitoring. The camera connects via USB and works with PIX Connect software for line scanning, image merging, and radiometric analysis. Developer kits allow seamless integration into custom industrial systems.
