SDI 1410 | Digital Surface Mount Accelerometer

The SDI 1410 is a miniature and hermetically sealed surface mounted accelerometer ideal for measurement of low to medium frequency vibration. This accelerometer combines a micromachined capacitive sense element and a custom integrated circuit which includes a sensing amplifier and a sigma-delta A/D converter. The unit is relatively insensitive to any temperature changes and gradients. The output given by this unit is a digital pulse train, with the density of pulses being proportional to applied acceleration. The inputs and outputs of the unit are protected with diode protection. The SDI1410 can be used for measurement applications in robotics, automotive, shock, tilt or OEM.
