The InertialLabs wave sensor is developed to meet the industrial requirement of wave statistics measurement and to generate spectral data through enhanced high-performance strapdown technology. These are the wave, motion and direction measurement sensors that are mounted on a device and measure:
- Max Wave Height
- Wave Period
- Wave Direction
- Wave Energy
- Wave Height and Max Wave Height
- Wave Period
- Wave Direction
- Directional Width
- Fourier Coefficients
- Wave Temperature
- Heave, Heave Velocity and Position.
- Accuracy:
- 0.5cm wave height
- 0.1s wave period
- 0.05° wave direction & 0.02° Pitch & Roll
- 5cm / 5% heave accuracy
- Optional data logger & compatibility with Buoy controller
- Operating temperature: -40 to +70 °C
- Waterproof, IP67 protected housing
These wave sensors provide accurate pitch and roll as well as Wave Characteristics of the device. They can be conveniently integrated with a floating platform controller which will allow the transmission of real-time data.
With the pertinent combination of price and performance ratio solutions, the wave sensors are developed with micro g Bias in-run stability Advanced Micro Electro Mechanical System (AMEMS)-based accelerometers making it ideal for application across platforms.
This high-end wave sensor technology is suitable for marine applications, and upon technology based on fibre-optics that prove its claim of reliable standard and high-accuracy.
