RAP4000 | Continuous Reactor Systems

The RAP4000 consists of four different types of glass reactors with the same volume; a perfectly stirred reactor, a cascade of two perfectly stirred reactors, a plug-flow reactor and a tubular reactor. It allows experimentation on:

• Comparing reaction rate experiments on four different types of reactors
• Determine the chemical conversion rate by conductivity measurement
• Hydrodynamic study of the reactor, such as residence time distribution (RTD) calculation
