PI 450i G7 Fast Precision Infrared Camera and Line Scanner for Glass Industry

The thermal camera is designed for accurate temperature measurement in glass processing, using a 7.9 µm spectral band that aligns with glass’s highest emissivity. This enables reliable surface temperature readings, even at angled viewing positions. It measures temperatures from 150 °C to 900 °C, with optional calibration extending to 1500 °C, while its 382 × 288 uncooled microbolometer provides precise and repeatable radiometric imaging. Its 17 µm pixel size allows detection of small measurement targets, and interchangeable optics enable flexible field-of-view adjustment for different applications. High frame rates up to 80 Hz support monitoring of fast-moving production lines with minimal motion blur, while strong thermal sensitivity enables detection of subtle temperature variations. The system can also operate in ambient temperatures up to 80 °C, allowing installation near high-temperature industrial processes. Advanced thermography software supports features such as line scanning, hot and cold spot detection, histogram analysis, temperature trending, and image merging. Optional accessories, including water-cooled housings and air purge systems, improve performance in harsh environments, while process interfaces enable seamless integration with control systems.
