PI 1M Precision Short-Wavelength IR Camera

The PI 1M is a short-wavelength thermal camera built for accurate, non-contact temperature measurement of hot, reflective metal surfaces. Operating between 0.85–1.1 µm, it aligns with metals’ higher emissivity, reducing reflection errors commonly seen in long-wave thermal imaging. This allows the camera to deliver stable and reliable readings across various materials, including steel, copper, alloys, and semiconductors.

It measures temperatures from 450 °C to 1800 °C in one continuous range and supports flexible imaging speeds and resolutions for both detailed monitoring and high-speed processes, including line scanning for continuous analysis. The camera integrates easily with control systems via USB and configurable interfaces, with PIX Connect software enabling advanced data processing and monitoring.

Designed for harsh industrial environments, the PI 1M offers optional protective accessories such as water-cooled housings, air purging systems, and laser filters. Combining precision, durability, and cost efficiency, it is well suited for applications such as metallurgy, laser processing, and research.
