Head Saw Simulator for Operator Training

Our Head Saw Simulator trains both beginners and experienced operators to master the operation of forestry saw heads in a safe, controlled environment. Designed for vocational education, it helps TAFE teachers and industry trainers deliver realistic, curriculum-aligned learning experiences.

Trainees work through structured scenarios that replicate real-world forestry tasks, from precision cutting to equipment handling in varied terrain conditions. Instructors can plan and optimise training sessions, track learner progress in real time, and assess skill acquisition with built-in evaluation tools. All training records are securely stored to ensure compliance and traceability.

The simulator features an ergonomic operator station with authentic forestry equipment controls and delivers immersive visuals on a 4K UHD screen. Integrated with Acreos’ GSTA cloud-based management software, it allows instructors to efficiently manage sessions, monitor performance, and export results—ensuring measurable outcomes and operational efficiency.
