H23 Series Next generation Hydrophones

The new generation H23 hydrophones from Wilcoxon is a small, self-amplified hydrophone with ultra-low noise internal amplifier which can be used for a wide range of applications from general purpose marine and biological research to military applications. This advanced sensor offers a wide, flat frequency response and are omnidirectional over a wide range of frequencies from 5Hz to 150kHz and orientation. It can withstand underwater operations in seawater at a depth of 680m.

The H23 hydrophone can be used in the laboratory for test and measurement or in the ocean. Typical applications include:
