Gearbox Dynamics Simulator
The Gearbox Dynamics Simulator (GDS) is educational-purpose equipment that allows students to learn and gain practical knowledge about the industrial gearbox. It enables students to perform a variety of experiments to investigate gearbox dynamics and acoustic behavior, health monitoring, vibration-based diagnostic techniques, lubricant conditioning, or wear particle analysis. The teachers can demonstrate the gearbox fault diagnosis of faults like surface wear, cracked tooth, chipped tooth, and a missing tooth. The teaching equipment is easy to configure and is also available with computerized data acquisition system options.
