Electrical Multipoint Borehole Extensometer

The Encardio Rite Model EDS-70V/EDS-70P Electrical Multipoint Borehold Extensometer measures extension that takes place with the time in a bored hole or in several bored holes in a rock mass or measures the deformation in ground/ rock mass, such as in tunnel, power house, deep excavation, mines, slopes. The electrical multipoint borehole extensometer head assembly uses vibrating wire displacement sensors (in the range – 50, 100 or 150 mm) with multi-core cables used to transmit electrical output over long distances. Portable readout units/data logger or remote automatic data acquisition systems can provide readings or can be used with mechanical readout devices.
