HFN9 Friction of Belts Apparatus

The HFN9 Friction of Belts Apparatus is technical teaching equipment designed for the study of the relationship of friction in varying belts. It allows students to carry out investigations to compare the coefficient of friction between the pulley and belt for the belt sections. The equipment mainly consists of an aluminum alloy pulley, 3 belts in flat, vee, rope form, and 2 load hangers. With the help of the instruction manual, students can perform experiments that help them to practically verify belt tension law.
