PI 08M Precision Short-Wavelength IR Camera
The PI 08M is a short-wavelength thermal camera designed for demanding laser manufacturing processes. Operating in the 0.78–0.82 µm range, it accurately measures temperature on hot, reflective metal surfaces where traditional long-wave thermal cameras often struggle due to unstable emissivity and reflection errors. By measuring at shorter wavelengths, it delivers more reliable and repeatable temperature data, especially at high temperatures.
The camera measures temperatures from 575 °C to 1900 °C and offers flexible imaging speeds and resolutions to suit different applications, from detailed monitoring to high-speed event capture and line scanning for continuous process analysis. It connects via USB for easy setup and data transfer, while PIX Connect software and developer kits allow advanced data analysis and custom integration for industrial and research use.
