The Encardio Rite Casagrande Piezometer Model EPP-10 includes a porous carborundum or allundum (Casagrande) tip, wrapped in geotextile cloth, along with a PVC standpipe, appropriate adaptors, and an end cap. It is designed to monitor pore pressure within boreholes in soil or rockfill.
The Casagrande SP standpipe, utilized for measuring groundwater, consists of a PVC slotted pipe encased in geotextile, and a series of PVC riser pipes or standpipes with built-in sockets and end caps.
