The HFC2 Triangle of Forces teaching equipment is used to help students gain hands-on learning experience about the resolution of forces. It has a bench-mounted baseboard with a raised circular table and 360° protractor that has three pulleys on adjustable clamps around the table edge. The equipment is supplied with a full set of weights and hangers and with an instruction manual.
The training kit simplifies the measurement and practical verification of the triangle of forces. It allows students to perform experiments and find out a combination of three coplanar forces in equilibrium. Further, the results can be compared with the graphical solution for verification.
