The Endevco 7298 triaxial accelerometer is designed to provide high thermal stability and global accuracy which are typically required for measurement in aerospace and automotive environments. It is ideally used for measuring the motion of objects immediately after being subjected to shock or in the environment with severe vibration. Each axis in this accelerometer has a patented variable capacitance MEMS sensing element. The 7298 is an ideal choice to be used for permanent installations in hose-down locations as it is designed with water resistant connector. A factory programmable temperature compensation is included in the signal conditioning that maintains the thermal characteristics and ensures a high accuracy while maintaining a full analog signal path.
