The thermoMETER CTP7 operates at a wavelength of 7.9µm for accurate temperature measurement of plastic films made of polyether sulfones (PES), polyurethane (PU), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and polyamide (PA). The sensor is integrated with a polymer-specific absorption band to minimize the effect of materials transmissivity. It has a robust construction housing sensor head and programmable external controller with backlit display.
