Mining truck personal simulator

The Mining Truck Personal Simulator puts the trainees at the control of a modern heavy hauler at work in a simulated typical mining site. It also allows interaction with a simulated Electric Rope Shovel. The work site of this simulator includes challenging driving scenarios having slippery driving conditions, and interactive dumping and loading zones. The Mining Truck Personal Simulator teaches the students real-world operating skills such as using hoist control, loading and dumping as well as corridor driving. The newly released simulation software also added significant improvements, including the new 3D model of haul truck and dashboard, new simulated physics with several levels of wet/slippery driving conditions as well as new modules to practice reverse driving.

Included simulation modules:
  • Controls Familiarization
  • Corridor Driving 1 and 2, with wider or narrower corridors
  • Corridor Driving 3, to practice driving backwards
  • Mine Site Driving 1 and 2, with shorter or longer driving distances
  • Dumping
  • Loading, in interaction with a simulated Electric Rope Shovel
  • Complete Haul Cycle 1, 2 with shorter or longer driving distances
