The Endevco 7286 is a lightweight piezoresistive accelerometer specially designed for automotive crash testing in vehicle crush zone applications. This accelerometer features economical design as reusing this sensor is not expected. It has been designed, assembled and perfected using decades of experiences which provides the sensors with exceptional reliability to record critical data at a very low cost. This DC responsive accelerometer can measure long duration transient shock which is ideal in crush zone applications. The sensor is available with adhesive or bolt mounting configurations. The Endevco 7286 features a low excitation voltage of 2Vdc.
